About James Earl Hollywood III

Grounded in Faith. Driven by Purpose.
I’m James Earl Hollywood III — a minister, nonprofit leader, and father of nine working to build safer, healthier, and more hopeful communities. Whether leading from the boardroom or the block, my life’s work has centered around one mission: real solutions that serve real people.
A Life of Service Across Sectors
With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked at the intersection of public policy, mental health, education, and juvenile justice. I currently serve as a Statewide Leader at NAMI Maryland, where I lead efforts to expand mental health support, education, advocacy, improve access, and raise awareness across the state.
As the founder of Hollywood Enterprise & Associates, LLC and Together for You, Inc., I work directly with communities — creating mentoring, reentry, and career pathways for young people, particularly those involved in the juvenile justice system.
Leadership That Build Systems and Trust
I’ve partnered with national organizations, including the Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) and the Annie E. Casey Foundation, to support state reform, strengthen systems, and develop collaborative, community-focused solutions.
I’ve also contributed to initiatives in public health, early childhood, higher education, climate resilience, and workforce development — always with a practical, people-first approach to leadership.
Education & Lifelong Learning
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology/Pre-Law, dual Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Strategic Communication, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies. I’m currently pursuing a dual doctorate in Public Policy and Social Leadership, continuing to grow as a leader dedicated to the public good.

My Core Commitments
My work is rooted in values that bring people together and build lasting change:
Faith Led Leadership
Family & Community First
Results Over Rhetoric
Listening Before Leading
Collaboration Across Differences
A Father First

Above all, I am a husband and father of nine. My greatest calling is to prepare a better world for my children — and for all families. That’s what keeps me grounded, humble, and motivated to lead with purpose.
